Young Jeezy arrested at strip club
Young Jeezy was arrested at a strip club in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday (May 24).
The rapper, born Jay Jenkins, was taken in by DeKalb County Police after an incident at the club in Clarkston at approximately 3 am, according to police spokesperson Michael Payne.
"Evidently there was some type of altercation in the club, someone didn't want to leave," Payne told the Associated Press.
"It turns out one of the people in the group was Jay Jenkins or Young Jeezy. Evidently he was there with his sister and some friends," he said.
Payne explained that Young Jeezy and two male friends were booked on disorderly conduct charges at the DeKalb jail and released. The rapper's sister was reportedly given a citation for disorderly conduct but wasn't booked at the jail.
Payne added that there was no physical confrontation, explaining it was all verbal and the group was being belligerent.
